Ireland!

I r pigeon.  Walcome. Give bread.
Greetings from the Emerald isle!

Lizzie and I took an overnight flight, which is kind of a joke because the flight is only 5 1/2 hours, so you land bleary eyed and torn between wanting to nap forever, and wanting to acclimate to the new time zone.  We landed at 7:45am Irish time, which is (math math math) 2:45am Boston time.  As we stood in line for customs, we noted with embarrassment that 75% of the Americans on the flight were wearing green/Celtics shirts/Guinness shirts/leprechaun shirts.  Stop it.

We managed to find the proper bus to our hotel, and they graciously allowed us to check in early and partake of their free breakfast (granola and yogurt.  y'know, for later ;)  after which we went on our merry way to city center.  It was a 20 minute walk, and dang, guys, Dublin's streets are even more windy and confusing than Boston's.  There's not a great way to orient yourself, and it doesn't help that Lizzie and I are shite with directions.  Still, we managed to make it over the River Liffey, to Trinity College.
